Coach Graves was named the interim Head Coach for the Southern University Jaguars football after former Head Football Coach Dooley was released after two seasons. Coach Terrence Graves was the Linebackers/Special Teams Coordinator for Grambling during the 2021 season under Head Coach Fobbs who was let got as the head football coach going 2-1 at home, 0-5 away, 2-1 at a neutral site, 3-5 in the conference and 4-6 that season.
Coach Graves will be the interim head football coach for Southern University in the Bayou Classic football game. In 2021 Coach Graves lead the Grambling State Tigers to a 29-26 victory over Southern University.
