Dekalb County, GA – The summer session of High School Football practice is in full swing and teams are preparing for their season openers on August 15th for all Dekalb County High Schools. While preparing for the upcoming season, according to reports from Atlanta News First Mikah King, a sophomore at Arabia Mountain High School, died Wednesday after experiencing a medical emergency at practice the day before according to DeKalb County School District.
King played as an offensive guard and defensive tackle for the Arabia Mount Rams Football team, who will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and teammates. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the King family during this time. DeKalb County School District will have grief counselors at the High School to provide the necessary support as needed.
