Tyler Martinez: Former Texas Southern University Football Player Died From Apartment Parking Garage Altercation

A former Texas Southern University football defensive tackle Tyler Martinez, 24 years of age, was tragically killed on July 11th after a physical confrontation inside his apartment parking garage in Houston, Texas.  According to the report by KHOU 11, Martinez and Issac Jasper Robinson both lived in the same apartment complex, got into an altercation inside the apartment parking garage, where Martinez had Robinson pinned to the ground. 

Upon Martinez getting up and walking away, Issac Jasper Robinson was handed a gun by a female from a car that was used to shoot and kill Martinez.  The paramedics were called to the apartment complex where the former Texas Southern Football player was found unresponsive due to the gun wounds he suffered from. He was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.

Police have arrested Issac Jasper Robinson who has been charged with murder.  Martinez was a charismatic person who wanted to be the dominant defensive lineman on the field. Martinez did get his degree at Texas Southern University and was working on his master degree.   excel at the sport of football.  enjoyed playing football, working out, and enjoying life.  The former TSU Tiger defensive tackle had big dreams of continuing his football career beyond college, will be truly missed by family, friends, and teammates.
