Texas Southern University Football season began with TSU Tigers starting Quarterback Andrew Body underneath center ready to lead the tigers to a possible chance to play for the SWAC Championship. Texas Southern University fell short of winning the West Division of the SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference). Texas Southern is looking to find a replacement head football coach Charles McKinney whose contract ends sometime in December. Now that the season has ended and the uncertainty of who will be the next head football coach of the Texas Southern University Wildcats football team. Andrew Body has decided to enter his name into the transfer portal. Andrew Body posted on his social media page the following message:
Andrew Body played in 16 games throwing the ball 383 times, completing 222, for 2839 yards, 15 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and rushed the ball 180 times, for 887 yards and 6 touchdowns.
