Alabama State is coming off a big victory against Jackson State spoiling their homecoming which is something Hornets Head Coach Eddie Robinson Jr, wanted to do so bad from the midfield dust up between he and former Jackson State Head Football Coach Deion Sanders last season. The hornets scored 14 points in a tight game against the tigers defense to secure the win.
Alabama A&M will becoming into this game off a big time win against Grambling State University in which Xavier Lankford lead the team in rushing the ball for 193 yards in that game. The bulldogs offense rushed the ball for rushed for 336 totals yaards and five touchdowns. Not to mention Alabama A&M scored 21 points in the third quarter to secure the win off costly turnovers.
