Spokane, WA – Jackson State needed all scorers on deck tonight to make sure the Tigers kept themselves close enough to attack and hand Gonzaga another loss. Jackson State Jordan O’Neal had a rough night scoring and fouled out the game.
Jackson State Tigers fell behind late in the first half, but it wasn’t because the tigers were sloppy turning the ball over or shooting unnecessary three pointers. Jordan O’Neal getting into foul trouble prevented the Tigers from trimming the lead that Gonzaga had built and making it even easier for Gonzaga to get more points in the paint. Gonzaga made sure they would send multiple players at the big man making him and other Jackson State players uncomfortable making shots in the paint.
Gonzaga had 5 players with double digits in the game Graham Ike 22 points, Nolan Hickman 18 points, Braden Huff 17 points, Ryan Nembhand 11 points, and Anton Watson 10 points.
Jackson State had 3 players with double digits in the game with 25 points, Chase Adams 14 points, Coltie Young 13 points. Jackson State record is 4-8 and their next game is against Northwestern University on December 29th at 7pm.
