Aliyah Boston Leads Indiana Fever to Victory Against Atlanta Dream

Indianapolis, IN – This game had Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston written all over it from her aggressive play in the paint.  Boston helped the Fever gain an early lead in the game due to her rebounding the ball.  The Fever held the dream to one-shot opportunities which allowed their lead to ballon to 15 points along with Rhyne Howard being whistled for her 3rd personal foul halfway into the second quarter.

The Atlanta Dream offense had a rough time coming out of halftime scoring points.  However, the Dream defense kicked in late into the 3rd quarter allowing them to gain momentum to have a chance at winning the game.  The Dream showed they have talent within the organization in Rhyne Howard who led the way with 26 points, Cheyenne Parker-Tyus with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals that will let opposing teams know no lead is safe when playing them. The Dream wiped away the 15-point lead and went up by a point in the fourth quarter.  The Dream found themselves down again as time was winding down in the 4th quarter, because of the fouls and the inability to keep Aliyah Boston out of the paint scoring easy baskets when the Fever needed her the most.

Caitlin Clark had a rough night scoring 7 points to go along with 7 turnovers, however, her teammate Aliyah Boston and the Fever were able to get the win against the Dream in this contest and they showed when they minimized the mistakes and kept competing, they can secure wins.
