Boulder, CO – Year Two of the Prime-Time effect in Boulder Colorado, is loading with fall football camp starting with leading tackler on the Buffs Shilo Sanders showing up with a yellow no-contact jersey. At first glance, the question that comes to mind is how severely injured is Shiilo Sanders left shoulder?
The topic of Sanders shoulder has become major news knowing the Buffs defensive backfield has limited experience for the 4-2-5 defense they will look to run this upcoming season. Sanders practicing with the bulky shoulder brace raises a major red flag. Sanders availability to be on the field for the Buff’s first game against North Dakota State on August 29th, is critical to how there season will progress to reach the ultimate goal of playing in the NCAA playoffs.
After watching well-off media first practice of the 2024 fall camp, Buff fans will get the feeling that Coach Prime and his coaching staff understand the player personnel they have on the defensive side of the ball that will need players to have a herculean or out-of-body effort in some games this season when the time is right to help propel the Buffs team defense that was ranked 130th at the end of the 2023 football season.

This is likely the reason why Shilo Sanders is rushing or being rushed back onto the field to practice or is this another way to undermine those reporting players’ injuries?Coach Prime made it clear to the team they have to win now,
not next year, but now. Looking at an athlete on the field with a yellow
jersey on that means no contact on the field, should let Buffs fans know either
the team has something to prove or there is much more on the line and to the
ongoing questions that will be asked if players are injured.
One way to end all speculation to end the questioning about Shilo’s shoulder injury, is to have the press at practice watching live Shilo raising his hands above his shoulders without wincing or any pain. At the conclusion of a successful first completion there should be no more questions asked. Everyone understands the sport of football is entertainment and the Sanders family business. If one of the main contributors to the family business is injured unfortunately they will be more than likely get up and play because of the name on the back of their jersey without fully being healed. The Buff fans don’t want to see another 4-8 season, they are looking to see the program playing againt the other 11 teams named to compete in the NCAA expanded playoffs at the end of this season.
